Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (IATA Airport Code: STL) is the primary airport for St. Louis, Missouri, United States and the surrounding area. It is located 11 miles northwest of downtown St. Louis along I-70 between I-170 and I-270. Lambert- St. Louis International Airport serves over 88 non-stop national and international destinations. In 2006 over 15.3 million passengers traveled through the airport. Connection traffic through Lambert on American Airlines and Southwest Airlines continues to grow as well.

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport serves as a hub for American Airlines and its regional affiliate AmericanConnection as well as an hub for Great Lakes Airlines. Southwest Airlines uses St. Louis as a Focus city and is also one of Lambert's largest carriers in terms of daily flight operations second only to AA.
